List of spellings to be practised for the following Monday Relevant to current learning. Reading linked to current topic for verbal discussion or research or other literacy task following individual programme of work.

  • Daily reading of 10 minutes.
  • Year 3 children to spend between 15- 20 minutes on the task.
  • If the homework is taking too long then a note in the HSB can be brought in and the homework explained by the class teacher.

  • Daily reading of 15 minutes.
  • One maths homework will be Mymaths. Children will have 2 days to complete both the on-line lessons (click L on the top of the homework page) and the homework. Occasionally RM easimaths may be set as an alternative. Children will also have 2 days to complete the other maths homework which will be a non computer based task – this may be learning, a worksheet, collecting data or pattern spotting.
  • Year 4 children to spend between 15- 20 minutes on the task (if it is taking longer than this please use your discretion, as parents, to stop the task and make a note in the Home school book).
