ICT Tekkies

ICT representatives are chosen from a shortlist of children who express an interest in the role. We appoint two reps for each class for the whole year, so we have 24 ICT reps in the school.

They are responsible for:

• The care of computer equipment in their classrooms
• Setting up class computer equipment
• Shutting down class computers at the end of the day
• They disseminate internet and computer safety information to other pupils

Children are given an ICT security badge that provides access to the computer suite and enables others to ask them for support.
