Transfer to Secondary School

Applications to secondary school are all co-ordinated by the Local Authority. Please click here to visit the London Borough of Sutton's website for full details of the application process. Applications should be made online at the London Borough of Sutton website from 1 September 2023. You may contact the London Borough of Sutton Call Centre on 020 8770 5000 or by email admissions@sutton.gov.uk if you require general help and advice on the admission process and how the system works.

The Parent Partnership Service (spps@sutton.gov.uk 020 8770 4541) provide independent advice to parents and carers who are having particular difficulty in understanding the admissions procedure, such as:

• visually or hearing impaired
• Those for whom English is not their first language
• Those with difficulties in literacy

Secondary Schools hold open evenings and open days during September and October. Some of the selective schools, however, hold their open days in the previous summer term. Please check the London Borough of Sutton website and the individual school websites for further information.

Closing date for applications for entry in September 2024:  31st October 2023: 
Letters with the outcome of your application will be posted out by the London Borough of Sutton: 1 March 2024

If you applied online, you will also be able to access your results from the evening of 1st March.
